About Zebrina Prayer Plant

The Calathea Zebrina is the perfect Prickle Plant. It’s pet-friendly and safe for children, so you can rest assured your little Pricklettes are safe around it. The Zebra Plant is the ideal coffee table house plant, as although it's fast-growing, its maximum height is 1m.

Part of our unique patterned plants, the Zebra Plant has velvet-like leaves that will give a retro look to your home. This shade-tolerant Calathea thrives best when kept out of direct sunlight and is watered regularly (whenever you notice the soil is dry). Just mist them occasionally and they will be happy as Larry.

There are a few signs that your Calathea Zebrina is unhappy and looking for some TLC. Keep an eye out for signs of crisping; this means they need more humidity or misted more regularly. If you notice curling leaves this means they're thirsty, and drooping leaves mean they would like some more misting or dry air.

At Prickle, we are always here to hear you! Send us your Zebra Plant questions @Prickleplantsuk.
