About String of Turtles
Meet the String of Turtles, botanically known as Peperomia prostrata. This adorable trailing plant features tiny, round leaves that look just like little turtle shells. Its delicate vines spill beautifully, perfect for hanging baskets, terrariums, or tabletops. Hailing from Brazil’s rainforests, it loves warm, humid spots, bright indirect light, and well-draining soil to stay happy and healthy.
This slow-growing beauty stays compact, with vines reaching up to 50 cm in ideal conditions. Its tiny, marbled leaves with light green veins create a stunning decorative touch. While it may bloom with small brown flowers now and then, the lush, cascading foliage is the real star, adding charm to any indoor space.
