About Maidenhair Fern
The Maidenhair Fern is a diva, they know what they want and aren't afraid to show it if you don't look after them properly Pricklettes! In true diva fashion though, the Maidenhair hates being touched, so hands-off. But, my gosh are they worth it, and they are pet-friendly.
This beautiful indoor fern botanical name is Adiantum Fragrans and is recognisable by its blackened stemmed and lime green leaves. Get on their right side and they just might let you call them by their nickname, the Venus Hair Fern. It got this nickname because of its fine, delicate, hair-like roots - a diva needs iconic hair didn't you know?
Don’t worry though, Maidenhair Fern care is easy once you know what they like. This indoor fern plant is a sun-lover (it is from South America after all), so keep it somewhere humid with bright, indirect sunlight, like the bathroom or kitchen. When the Maidenhair Fern isn't getting enough light, its leaves can curl and discolour. If you notice this give them the sunlight they crave.
