About Lil' Sweetheart Plant
We think the baby Sweetheart Plant is the ideal gift for a loved one as its adorable little leaves are shaped like hearts! The more humid of an environment you put your Sweetheart Plant in, the bigger its leaves will be.
The Philodendron Scandens baby plant is slightly shade-tolerant and should be kept in indirect sunlight. If you find it has long stems but no leaves, move it to a sunnier spot and in a few weeks it will be back to its loving self again. This romantic plant will be happiest living in a living room or bedroom. To show your Heart-shaped Philodendron houseplant the love, regularly water it and mist it on occasion.
This South American sweetheart likes it reasonably warm (15-21°C), but it will tolerate as low as 10°C if your heart desires. Sweetheart plants are fast growers and can reach up to 4m, but it will take a while for your baby plant to get this big. While it may look sweet, this little plant is toxic to pets and children, so be sure to keep it out of their reach.
