About Lil' Banana Plant

The baby Banana plant isn't going to be growing teenie tiny bananas for you anytime soon however, it will be bringing some colour to your home. With striking purple leaves, the Musa Dwarf Cavendish baby plant leaves are delicate and can bruise and snap easily, so don't panic if this happens - you're still a great plant parent.

Your baby Dwarf Banana plant needs regular watering and the occasional mist. Keep it in your living room or bedroom in bright, indirect sunlight; watch out for giving it too much sunlight as its leaves may fold up in protest. Luckily the Musa Dwarf Cavendish is a shade-tolerant indoor plant and will happily sit out of the sun for a few days to recover.

This Canary Island native likes a warm environment (18-27°C) but it can handle temperatures as low as 10°C. If you're still not convinced that this baby plant is right for you, the fact that it is also pet and child-friendly should do it!

At Prickle, we are always here to hear you! Send us your Musa Dwarf Cavendish baby plant questions @prickleplantsuk.
