About Curly Spider Plant
Don't let this Prickle Plant’s name put you off, the Curly Spider Plant is actually the perfect home or office companion. The Chlorophytum Bonnie stays nice and small, only growing to a height of 70cm.
The Spider Plant is shade-tolerant and can grow in artificial light, so don't worry if you don't have a window seat at work! They can handle temperatures as low as 8°C but prefer anything above 16°C, great if your office loves the air conditioning. If you fancy keeping your spider plant at home with you instead, don't worry about your little friend as it’s pet and child friendly!
This adorable South African plant earned it's spider plant nickname from the little baby plants that grow off it. These offshoots can be pressed into compost to grow roots and give you new plants!
Spider plant watering is simple: give them regular water and mist occasionally. If you notice brown patches, give their leaves an extra mist. Make sure you water from the bottom to avoid water getting stuck in their leaves.
At Prickle, we are always here to hear you! Send us your Spider Plant questions @Prickleplantsuk.
